He continued his education in Brighton (UK), studying Fine Art Printmaking producing a series of architectural prints. After completing the course, he had a spell as Junior Designer at Brighton Museum before eventually illustrating full time.
Michael has continued to work full-time since, in the past taking on posts as visiting and part-time lecturer at colleges in southern England. These areas Michael exploits to the full with his beautifully illustrated maps and his informative step-by-step illustrations while referencing his architectural interests.
Working from his London studio, he has clients around the world, but mainly in Europe and USA. After many years in Brighton he now lives in London with his wife, Andrea and daughter Madeleine. When not in the studio, Michael loves to cycle around the lanes of Kent, ski in the Alps or wander along a sunny Breton beach
